Psychic Reading Crystals
I love crystals. And rocks. And shells. And dinosaur fossils. And caves. And… Well, you get the picture. The thing about crystals is that they conduct energy. They were used in the early versions of the radio actually called a Crystal Set. Fortunately, our planet is blessed with huge deposits of crystals housed in 
underground caves, as at Naica, Mexico shown left. The sheer scale of the crystal growths is staggering as we can see from this photo. When I look at the photos of Naica, I want to be there, to feel the energy of these enormous structures, to study their internal architecture so as to understand what they really are. Do they possess any sort of consciousness? Do they record and retain the vibrations of what happens around them? Could we ever learn to read them to recover that information? No matter how we look at them, crystals are an amazing life form that can grow for hundreds of thousands, even millions, of years. But why are they here? Is there something we should be doing with them that we have yet to discover? Whatever the answers to these questions, crystals fulfill a function that is very important to me: they help me to focus my psychic sense and enter a very deep state of receptivity. I find a real difference in readings where I use my reading crystal and those in which I don’t. The crystal seems to facilitate my shift into receptive psychic mode. Of course, this may be because I used it consistently as an aid to concentration when I first started to do psychic readings so my intuition may now be primed to react with greater sensitivity when I hold a crystal. Whatever the reason, I find that readings I do with the crystal in hand usually go very smoothly. It is the ability of the crystal to ease the shift from ‘left brain’ or Beta state awareness to more ‘right brain’ or Alpha, Theta, Delta functioning that I find most helpful. When I take my ‘reading crystal’ into my hands and hold it for a few moments, my breathing slows down, thoughts cease, and the quiet state I associate with psychic receptivity takes over.
Psychic Reading Crystals
I am particularly fond of my Herkimer Diamond which comes from the American state of New York. It is
a white quartz crystal that was cloudy over about 2/3 of its total volume when I first acquired it. After a few months of holding it during psychic readings, the crystal was 95% clear and warmed up immediately when I placed it in my palm. I take this to signify a kind of ‘attunement’ between my energy state and that of the reading crystal.
How To Choose A Crystal
People sometimes ask me how I happened to choose that crystal from others on offer. Now, I admit I love looking at crystals but I approached the selection process by touch. I have found that crystals emit as well as absorb energy and that the best way to experience that is with the eyes closed. So when I see a table with crystals on it, I close my eyes, take a deep breath or two, and then extend my non-dominant hand, my left, and slowly pass my hand above the crystals until I feel the need to stop and pick one up. Sometimes I feel no ‘pull’ toward any of the crystals and know that these are not for me. I guess what I am saying is that I don’t think we so much choose our Crystals as we are chosen by them…
